The 'Rani ki Vav' is a most historical place in India. Which was located in the Patan of Gujarat state of India. On 22 June 2014, it was included in UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Patan was formerly known as 'Anhilpur', which was the pre-capital of gujarat. In the year 1063, Rani Udayamati to construction this in the memory of the king of Solanki regime and his husband King bhimdev. Rani Udayamati was the daughter of raja Ra'khengar of Junagadh's reign of Chudasma. Founder of Solanki Dynasty was Mularj Solanki. Bed was filled with saddle due to the water of Saraswati river. This Vav is 64 meters long, 20 meters wide and 27 meters deep.This is the unique way of your kind in India.
Vav's pillars take the Solanki lineage and their architecture into the time of the miracle. Most of the carvings on the walls and pillars of Vav have been dedicated to Lord Vishnu in various forms of incarnations such as Ram, Vaman, Mahishasurmardini, Kalki, etc.
The 'Rani ni Vav' has been formally announced to be included in the new list of World Heritage. Built in the 11th century, the World Heritage Committee of UNESCO has also given the title of queen of all Vav located in India. It is considered the best example of the use of groundwater resources in the water management system. 11th century Indian underground is the most evolved and comprehensive example of the unique type of architectural structure, Which show of the development of saga in India.This seven-storey Vav is evidence of the Maru-Gurjar style. For seven centuries, Saraswati river was buried in Gad after the disappearance of the river. This was discovered by the Archaeological Survey of India.
